Instincts

When I was small , I was very fond of keeping pets. I had a dog, her name was Roxy.

When she gave birth to her litter, immediately there was a big change in her...from playful cuddling pet she was turned in a caring and responsible mother. For her the safety of her pups was the foremost.
she would not even trust us the masters, to come near the pups in initial days....she will lie down there all so carefully so as not press some pup under herself, sometimes in so uncomfortable positions for a long time just to provide best possibilities of milk and warmth to her children.
She would not move from there, except for small and quick hurried up stretches to gulp down her food or for excreting. And immediately in blitz return back....

I often wonder what brought so much change in her, who told her to do these things. I mean in human society there are parents, peers and mentors to guide a new mother how to do manage thing.....from
where a pet dog who has not even lived in a pack of dog society comes to know these things.....this is wonder of Mother Nature which bestows Parenthood to each one in his or her time.......

Now when I am a father myself....I see how fast in seconds I went to do a chore out of the home, and in  no time returned back to see my sleeping son.....how fast am I changed. It was a just as if yesterday, that I was a kid and teenager and now I am a father.......

I wonder how strong is then God's instincts to his numerous number of children.....it is simply awesome.
When we find ourselves in difficult times, in emergencies or simply when it is too much to bear, we should remember Roxy ....and just know then that our Father in Heaven is taking care of us....he won't let us cold and hungry...he will keep us near warmth of his own Bosom.
